GunnIMS

Intramuscular Stimulation is a dry needling technique that effectively releases muscles by stimulating the nervous system. This technique causes the muscles to contract or “twitch” involuntarily and then release.

Medical & Traditional Chinese Acupuncture

I have been trained in both forms of acupuncture with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canadian Institute. This technique is suggested to restore balance in the nervous system and improve localized blood flow which promotes healing.

The inner ear can be the root cause of several dizziness and balance disorders. Using specialized equipment and a thorough assessment we are able to appropriately treat these conditions.

Taping

Kinesio-taping is a technique used to cue muscle and joint awareness. It is often used in conjunction with exercises in order to relearn proper muscle recruitment patterns.

Stability taping using athletic tape is an option to provide temporary support for more acute conditions and unstable joints.

Traditional Chinese Medicine used cupping as a technique to compliment acupuncture. It has shown to increase local circulation and blood flow as well as release tight muscles.
