Personal Details
I have an amazing, tight-knit family who have always been supportive of my endeavours. I strongly believe that you should love what you do, and do what you love.
With my older brother being a family physician, my sister-in-law being a nurse, and my significant other, Shayne, being a chiropractor, the medical talk runs deep at our dinners. Myself and Shayne consider ourselves the “body mechanics” of the family.
I have a photography business, Living Proofs , which has allowed me to combine my passions for travelling, photography, and outdoor activities. Mountains fuel my soul. Any chance I get, I head down to the Rockies. In the summer I enjoy hiking, kayaking, cycling, and walking our dog, Obi. In the winter, snowboarding is how I spend most of my time.. Year-round my “go-to” activities in Edmonton are boxing, hitting the gym, and slowing it down with some yoga.

Why my Job
makes me SMILE
My PROFESSION is my PASSION.
Since the age of 13, I have wanted to be a physiotherapist.
I was involved in many sports and activities growing up: martial arts, swimming, waterpolo, dance, rugby, cycling, and snowboarding. Staying active was a way of life. My martial arts instructor was a physio and I was always in awe of his athletic ability and knowledge of injury prevention. In high school I took Sports Medicine which solidified my career choice. We watched a video of a man who was in a severe car accident and saw his rehabilitation journey with his physio. I was sold. What better career than to help someone get back to the life they once had. The relationships we form with our patients are invaluable. I feel fortunate to share in my patients’ successes.
